EZ Access Ramps – Ease of Use & Comfort

These days, compared to just a few years back, wheelchair and wheelchair users have definitely better choices of equipments. For wheelchair ramps alone, there are now several models which users can choose from depending on their needs and use. One group is the ez access ramps.

These ADA-compliant modular wheelchair ramps are one of the easiest to install and dismantle for removal. Designed for less use of hardware, this type is suited for home and light commercial use for those who need help beyond the scope of regular wheelchair ramps.

 Advantages

One distinct advantage of ez access ramps is the choice of making multiple configurations to the ramp to apply to the user’s situation. One can add a step, a ramp or maybe extend some existing patios. The result is complete integration, from bottom to top.

The ramps are all ADA compliant (sometimes exceeding the official specifications, guidelines and requirements), and they are easily configured for almost any site. The ramp installation is fast (using less hardware) and easy. A 24-foot modular ramp can be installed in an hour, including handrails.

Features

These ramps carry a handful of very note-worthy features for a wheelchair runway. First, the modular ramps and platforms are all made of lightweight aluminum. There’s a pending patent on the ramps connecting system where drilling and riveting handrails are completely eliminated.

Like its name, EZ access ramps, the care is easy because it is maintenance-free with its extruded slip-resistant surface. There is a 36-inch usable width which can accommodate larger equipments. The legs are independently adjustable and the capacity is 850 pounds.

EZ Single-fold design

The number one feature of the single-fold design is its being ultra-strong and yet gives the safety and strength needed while remaining lightweight and portable. The carrying handle is built-in and there is a self-adjusting bottom transition plate for easy conversion from ramp to ground.

For wheelchairs, there is the no-pinch, non-protruding full-length live hinge and durable handles. These handles are ergonomically designed to the enhanced extruded tread for superior traction. The ramp was specifically re-designed from the ground up to lead the industry’s best.
The welded construction gives out long-term durability and safety. Its weight capacity is 800 lbs.

EZ Three-fold design

The EZ-Access Trifold Ramp Advantage series has a unique thee-fold design that makes them some of the most portable mobility ramps around. For wheelchairs, scooters, minivans and raised landings, the EZ three-fold design makes their ingress and egress easier and better.

Not only that, the three-fold design also makes it easier and convenient for carrying. Simply pull the built-in pin to separate the width into two pieces and then fold in half-length-wise. Each of the halves has an integrated handle for convenient carrying. (There are five different lengths to choose from.)

Some advantages include the aluminum materials (lightweight aircraft grade) that can hold up to 800 lbs. The three-fold design makes it easier to carry than the others. The non-skid surface has an excellent traction for safety, while the pivoting foot plate gives smooth transition. Available lengths are 5 feet up to 10 feet. EZ Access ramps top them for ease and comfort of use.
